Squeezing in a an LCD display on to a Bluetooth headset may sound like a fairly easy innovation, but given the task of such headsets out there, Jabra’s new LCD-equipped BT4010 gets credit for joining a relatively elite club. The BT4010’s smart LCD displays icons for battery level, connectivity status and call status at an easy single glance. Jabra developed the LCD and an alternative to the old customary of flashing LED signals that can be confusing to construe and the other LCD styles that require users to scroll through various menus to find the needed information that they would want. However, as compared to other LCD-equipped headsets like the older Jabra BT800 and competing Blue- Ant V12, the LCD won’t handle caller ID features, so you’ll still be in the darker side about who is calling unless you check your phone.
