Hewlett Packard is gearing up for the much anticipated MediaSmart server – which is based on Microsoft’s Windows Home Server operating system. Retailers will be stocking the new server next month.
Windows Home Server is a user-friendly server that was created as an automatic back-up system for Windows XP- and Windows Vista computers. It also includes a Windows Live Internet address from Microsoft – which allows you easier access to the hardware from anywhere over the Web. As if that wasn’t enough it can also keep an eye on the security status of your computer and can stream media to your Xbox 360 console.
