The company maintains leading place for 7 continuous quarters in terms of sales (market share of 17.7%) and consecutive 5 quarter in terms of production (market share of 13.8%). Most brilliant is that Samsung appeared second by holding a 21.3% market share, a 1.9% increase, in the sales of PDP TV in 3Q. Thus the company tapering the gap with Panasonic (32.9%) from 16.2£¥ point to 11.6£¥ point. Especially the LCD TV, company has ranked first for 5 successive quarters with a 16.8£¥ market share, followed by Sony (11.3£¥) and Sharp (10.8£¥). In terms of sales, Sony (15.1£¥) and Sharp (12.5£¥) went after Samsung (18.4%).
